Preschool Learning with Purpose
Preschoolers are natural learners. They love asking questions, making discoveries and figuring out how the world works. The Scout Elf Squad preschool series brings that curiosity to life through imaginative North Pole adventures filled with music, friendship, playful mysteries and opportunities to learn through play.
Created for young children ages 2–5, each short, animated episode follows Frostina, Shiver, Snowdrop and Blizzard as they encounter unexpected challenges, help their North Pole friends and discover what they can accomplish together.
Sometimes that means solving a mystery. Other times, it means trying something new, finding the courage to face an unfamiliar situation or learning what to do when things don’t go as planned. Through it all, the Squad shows preschoolers how curiosity, kindness, imagination and teamwork can help them learn, play and save the day!
Each short episode of this Elf on the Shelf preschool show is filled with music and brings gentle lessons from the enchanted arctic straight into living rooms everywhere.

Lessons from the North Pole

Whether the Squad is rescuing a lost fox cub, helping a friend or competing in the North Pole Games, the elves discover that everyone’s strengths matter. Sometimes, being a great teammate even means putting someone else’s needs ahead of winning.

Frostina’s Detecto-Specs, Shiver’s gadgets, Snowdrop’s Zazzle-wand and Blizzard’s Blastoboard help the Squad investigate mysteries, follow clues and discover unexpected solutions. Along the way, preschoolers are encouraged to observe, ask questions, think creatively and make thoughtful choices.
Confidence
Whether Blizzard is learning to manage his wiggles or the Squad is navigating an unfamiliar forest, the elves discover that trying something new can sometimes feel challenging. With practice, encouragement and help from friends, they learn to manage big feelings and keep trying.

A trail of donut crumbs leads the Squad to a new friend: Little Grunt, the smallest SnoBiggie yeti. Through kindness and courage, the elves help him across a frozen log while practicing gentle reminders about manners and being brave.
A Spooky Kooky Halloween (Sharing & Honesty)
When all the Halloween candy disappears from the North Pole, Scout Elf Squad follows colorful clues to their friend Little Grunt. Together, they discover that sharing, honesty and making things right can help turn a tricky situation into a celebration everyone can enjoy.

Building Social–Emotional Skills
Each episode connects to social-emotional learning (SEL), helping preschoolers understand feelings, build friendships, develop empathy and learn to navigate everyday challenges.
Through the Squad’s adventures, children see familiar experiences reflected in their favorite characters. Snowdrop helps care for the baby Frost Pips. The elves learn to stay calm during a snowstorm. Blizzard discovers that managing his wiggles takes practice, while Little Grunt learns the joy of sharing with friends.
Parents can build on these moments through simple, playful interactions:
- Pause and talk: Ask, “How did the elves work together?” or “When have you helped someone?”
- Explore feelings: Talk about how a character might feel when something goes wrong, when they’re nervous or when a friend needs help.
- Pretend play: Use toy figures or stuffed animals to re-create favorite adventures, practice helping others or act out ways to solve a problem.
- Spot kindness and clues: Encourage kids to wear imaginary Detecto-Specs and look for kind acts around the house, or investigate a little mystery together.
- Celebrate trying again: Remind your child that learning new things takes practice, just like Blizzard discovering how to manage his wiggles.
These small interactions help preschoolers connect the Squad’s stories to their own experiences. Sometimes, a quick conversation, a shared giggle or a little imaginative play is all it takes to turn a favorite adventure into an opportunity to learn and grow.
Learning Through Music and Movement
