There wasn’t enough room in the cookbook for all of their bite-size favorites, so the Sweet Shop Elves are sharing them here! In addition to the elf-size eats in the cookbook, the following extra ideas will both inspire your elves and convince you to keep some mini grocery items on hand to spark your elves’ whimsical cooking creativity!
Scout Elf Sushi

It might look like the real thing, but this sushi is an all-sweet treat, including scrumptious wasabi made from frosting.
Materials:
- Fruit leather roll-up
- Rice cereal marshmallow treat
- Rolling pin
- Gummy disc candies
- Rope candy
- White frosting
- Green food coloring
Instructions:
Sushi Roll:
- Your elf will unroll the fruit roll-up and lay it flat.
- Using a rolling pin, they will flatten the rice cereal treat until it is a sheet about the size of the fruit roll-up. They will place the flattened treat on top of the roll-up.
- Then, they will place gummy disc candies across the length of the rice cereal treat.
- They’ll place a length of rope candy on top of the gummies.
- Finally, lengthwise, they will roll the whole stack into a candy sushi roll, pressing the edges together. Then, they will slice into bite-sized candy sushi pieces!
Candy Nigiri:
- Your elf will shape a small part of the rice cereal treat into an oval.
- On top, they will place a piece of fruit leather to create a sushi nigiri!
Mini Ornaments

You’ll find some yummy broken baubles on page 98 of their cookbook, but this elf decided to make his own elf –size treat that looks just like the ornaments on a Christmas tree!
Materials:
- Mini chocolate-covered peanut butter cups
- Round candy mints
- Star-shaped sprinkles
- Tubed frosting or gel icing for decorating
- Edible metallic dust
- Food paint brush
Instructions:
- Your elf will gather the candies onto a cake plate or other workstation.
- They will use a fine brush to coat some of the candies with the edible metallic dust.
- Next, they will begin assembling the ornaments by using dots of the tubed frosting or gel icing to “glue” the sprinkles to the tops.
- Then, they will place them into a bowl and wait for your arrival!
Mini Fa-La-Lollipops

Full-size fruit skewers are fun (and you’ll find them on page 90 of the cookbook) but Scout Elves also love to make these fruity-tooty lollies out of fruit candies and marshmallows!
Materials:
- Toothpicks or small skewers
- Pastel-colored marshmallows
- Various colorful fruit-flavored candies
- Tubed frosting or gel icing for decorating
Instructions:
- Your elf will gather their materials.
- They will carefully thread each toothpick with the marshmallows and candies.
Mini Christmas Crunchicles

You’ll find the full-size recipe on page 38 of the cookbook, but your elf didn’t want to be left out and made some fun-size crunchicle popsicles too!
Materials:
- Flat-style toothpicks, broken in halves
- Oblong fruit candies
- Fruity cereal, crushed into small crumbs
- Canned frosting
Instructions:
- Your elf will place the oblong fruit candies on the broken end of each toothpick.
- They will dip them into the canned frosting so that most of the candy is coated.
- Next, they will roll the “popsicles” into the crushed cereal.
- Finally, they will pose and wait with their freezy treat until you find them and tell them what a cool idea they had!
