Scout Elf’s Pet Rock
Materials:
- A smooth, round rock
- Paintbrushes of various sizes
- Acrylic paints
- Red felt
- White felt
- Scissors
- Hot glue
Instructions:
- Your Scout Elf will paint a rock to look like themselves. They’ll paint the face first, then add the hair followed by the facial features, giving each layer time to dry before painting the next layer.
- Next, they will measure and cut a piece from the red felt, gluing it into a cone-shaped hat.
- They will cut a small strip from the white felt and glue to the bottom of the hat.
- Then, they will use small dots of glue to attach the hat to the top of the painted elf’s head.
- Finally, they will include their friend on all their Christmas adventures.
