The Classic Fun Giveaway Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions. By entering this Promotion all participants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

Eligibility

  1. This Promotion is open to residents of the 48 contiguous United States aged 18 or over (excludes Alaska, Hawaii, all P.O. boxes, APO/FPO/DPO and U.S. territories, possessions, and protectorates).

  1. This Promotion excludes employees of CCA and B LLC d/b/a The Lumistella Company (the “Promoter”), Disney Consumer Products, Inc., and each of their respective parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, their immediate family members, distributors, agents, and anyone else professionally connected with the administration and operation of the Promotion.

  1. Internet access along with an Instagram and/or Facebook account is required. No purchase necessary.

  1. Entries are limited to one per person. Anyone attempting to circumvent this rule by using alternative details, such as creating multiple Instagram and/or Facebook accounts, will be disqualified.

  1. Maximum of one prize package per person.

  1. By entering the Promotion, you agree that your submission complies to the Entry Requirements outlined below. Promoter, at its sole discretion, may remove any submission and disqualify you from the Promotion if it believes that your submission does not meet these requirements.

Promotional Period

  1. The Promotion is open beginning October 5th, 2026, 9:00 a.m. EST when the Instagram and Facebook Group post announcing the Promotion is first posted, and ends October 9, 2026, at 11:45 p.m. EST. Deadline for entries is October 9, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

Entry Requirements

  1. You must follow @elfontheshelf on Instagram, and answer the question “Which Mickey & Friends character best matches your Scout Elf’s personality?” and/or answer the same question in The Official Elf on the Shelf Ideas Facebook Group.

  1. For your entries submitted through The Official Elf on the Shelf Ideas Facebook Group, you must be a member of the Group. For entries submitted through Instagram, you must follow @elfontheshelf. Private profiles that enter and cannot be seen will not be accepted.

  1. If you do not give correct details or if you make an entry on someone else’s behalf, you will be disqualified, at Promoter’s discretion.

  1. Meta’s platforms (Facebook and Instagram) may experience technical issues beyond the Promoter’s control. The Promoter does not guarantee uninterrupted access.

  1. Incomplete, illegible, misdirected, or late entries will not be accepted. Proof of sending is not proof of delivery. Promoter takes no responsibility for entries that are delayed, incomplete, or lost due to technical reasons or any other cause.

  1. If the applicable Promotion requires the submission of photographs, photos must be submitted in JPEG, GIF, PNG, or TIFF format. Non-digital formats are not accepted.

  1. If photographs are submitted as part of the applicable Promotion, Promoter reserves the right to crop photos and blur or remove any visible trademarks not owned by Promoter.

  1. If photographs are submitted as part of the applicable Promotion, only Official Scout Elves®, Elf Pets®, and/or Elf Mates® (created by the Promoter) must be depicted in photo(s). Official Scout Elves are generally depicted as a red-suited elf with a red pointed hat, white collar, and white gloves. Photos that include any elves or characters other than those owned by Promoter or otherwise lawfully used by the Promoter under license may not be considered.

  1. If photographs are submitted as part of the applicable Promotion, including non-The Elf on the Shelf, Elf Pets, and/or Elf Mates products in photos may result in disqualification from the Promotion.

  1. Promoter monitors responses submitted in connection with this Promotion. Any response, or any previous post, that is, or could reasonably be considered disrespectful toward other members of the Instagram or Facebook community, or that is likely to cause offense or distress, may be removed from the Promotion at Promoter’s discretion. As a participant in the Promotion, your use of Instagram and Facebook is subject to the terms and conditions available at https://help.instagram.com and https://www.facebook.com/terms.

  1. Your submission will be deemed invalid if any post:
    a. contains defamatory, malicious, indecent, or other inappropriate content;
    b. includes the names of any individual without their express permission; or
    c. in the reasonable opinion of Promoter, causes any widespread or serious offense (taking into account prevailing social and community views or standards).

  1. Your submission must not contain material that violates, infringes, or misappropriates any rights of any other party, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or any other intellectual property rights.

  1. By participating in the Promotion, you grant Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free, limited, irrevocable and sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display the content for the purpose of this Promotion without compensation, or liability. You warrant that your submission and the materials therein are original works, not copied, in whole or in part, from any third party, and that you have full authority to grant these rights. Nothing in your submission or participation in this Promotion grants you any ownership interest in, license to, or other right to use the Promoter’s intellectual property, including its copyrights, trademarks, trade dress, characters, or other proprietary rights, except as expressly authorized by the Promoter.

  1. Each entrant acknowledges this Promotion is in no way associated with, sponsored, endorsed or administered by Instagram and/or Facebook and agrees to fully release Instagram and/or Facebook from any claims arising in connection with this Promotion.

  1. No cash or other alternative prizes are available in whole or in part, in the event of circumstances outside of Promoter’s control. In such cases, Promoter reserves the right to substitute a similar prize of equal or greater value at its discretion.

  1. Prizes in whole or in part are non-transferable.

  1. Please allow up to ninety (90) days for delivery of the prize although Promoter will endeavor to send these out within thirty (30) days after winner verification.

  1. Your personal data will be collected by Promoter online, in accordance with its privacy policy. Please review the privacy policy here. By participating in the Promotion, you agree to Promoter’s collection and usage of your personal information as necessary to achieve the purposes of this Promotion and its related efforts, and you acknowledge that you have read and accepted Promoter’s privacy policy.

Prizes

  1. Prize Package includes the following items: Claus Couture Collection® Oh Deer Tee Set, Claus Couture Collection® Disney’s Mickey Mouse-Inspired Ready to Roll Travel Set, Official Scout Elf Carrier Disney’s Mickey and Friends Edition, Claus Couture Collection® Disney’s Mickey & Friends Cookies for Santa Elf PJ Set. The Elf on the Shelf®: A Christmas Tradition with Poseable Elf. Approximate retail value of the prize package is $98.75. Subject to inventory availability.

Winner Selection and Notification

  1. Two (2) winners will be chosen at random from eligible comments submitted on Instagram and The Official Elf on the Shelf Ideas Facebook Group.

  1. The winners will be announced in Instagram Stories and in a post in The Official Elf on the Shelf Ideas Facebook Group at the conclusion of the giveaway period and will be required to provide personal information to claim their prize. If a winner does not make contact via Direct Message within three (3) days of the announcement, that winner’s prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected in the same manner.

General

  1. The Promoter is not responsible for the actions or defaults of third-party suppliers but will endeavor to resolve any issues that may arise.

  1. The Promoter’s decision is final in all matters related to the Promotion.

  1. If, for any reason, any aspect of this Promotion cannot run as planned, including due to infection by a computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter may in its sole discretion modify or suspend the Promotion or invalidate any affected entries. If any act, omission, event or circumstance is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter prevents compliance with these terms and conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in fulfilling its obligations.

  1. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries, including but not limited to requesting address and identity details (which must be provided within seven (7) days). Promoter may refuse to award a prize, withdraw prize entitlement, and/or disqualify participants from the Promotion where there are reasonable grounds to believe that a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of the Promotion’s entry requirements, has occurred or where a participant has gained an unfair advantage or won using fraudulent means.

  1. Winners’ full names will be available by sending an email request to compliance@lumistella.com for a period of three (3) months following the end of the Promotion Period. Requests will be processed in accordance with Promoter’s Privacy Policy.

  1. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or the acceptance or use of the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case such liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

  1. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram or Facebook. By entering the Promotion, all participants acknowledge that they have no claim against Instagram or Facebook and release Instagram and Facebook from any liability arising out of or in connection with the Promotion.

  1. Disney Consumer Products, Inc., its parent, affiliated and subsidiary companies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees and agents are not sponsors of this Promotion. By participating in this Promotion, each entrant releases and agrees to hold harmless Disney Consumer Products, Inc., its parent, affiliated and subsidiary companies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages or causes of action arising out of or relating to participation in the Promotion or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, except where prohibited by applicable law.

  1. If any of these clauses are found to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable, they shall be severed and deleted from these terms and conditions, and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.

  1. The Promoter will only use the personal details provided for the administration of the Promotion and related purposes, unless additional consent is given. Your personal details will at all times be kept confidential and handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws. You may request access to your personal data, correct any inaccuracies, or request the deletion of your information by sending an email to compliance@lumistella.com.
